EXPERIENCE: Space Saving Solution

Problem: As a growing Food Processor, the customer was faced with a shortage of frozen food storage space They had an area for a freezer, but how would they expand onto their existing system with minimal down time? With no excess capacity in the existing compressor room and a shortage of condenser capacity they thought they would need to expand their two stage system to accommodate the 14,000 sq. ft. storage area.

Solution: Gartner Refrigeration proposed that they add a single stage refrigeration compressor and recirculator. They also recommended that they add an oversized refrigeration condenser to connect to the common discharge line to handle the new load, as well as the shortage they experienced during the hot summer months.
