We would like to introduce a new revolutionary cartridge design relief valve from Hansen. Marketed in late 2011, the EZ-SRV could be an excellent time saving option for your relief valve needs. As many of you know, relief valves need to be replaced every five years per PSM requirements. It is a very labor intensive project since the inlet and outlet of the valve are directly threaded into the piping. With the new EZ-SRV relief valve, Hansen has made a valve body that is threaded into the piping with a cartridge that can be easily removed, similar to a bonnet of a shut off, solenoid or regulating valve. The EZ-SRV relief valve, threaded or welded, comes in two sizes: 1/2” x 3/4”, and 3/4” x 1”. The EZ-SRV’s match Hansen’s reduced capacity relief valves and are available for liquid relief valves. The valves feature a built-in gauge port check for refrigerant pressure. The EZ-SRV will work with Hansen’s current three-way manifolds, rupture discs, pressure switches and gauges.
