Ammonia Emergency Response Certification Training

Government regulations require that plant Safety Directors and personnel who respond to spills or leaks in ammonia refrigeration systems, must have specific OSHA refrigeration training. OSHA Regulation 1910.120 requires 24 hours of Emergency Response Training for personnel who will plug, patch, or stop the leak.

Gartner Refrigeration, in cooperation with Industrial Consultants, holds three OSHA refrigeration training classes twice a year that will enable your employees to obtain their ERT 24-hour certification, or an 8-hour refresher to maintain the certification.

The 24 hour OSHA refrigeration training includes classroom time, instructions on proper use of equipment, as well as a simulated emergency using gas masks, self-contained breathing apparatus, and a totally encapsulated suit.
