Unlike a standard engine room, the skid package can be loaded onto a truck and relocated somewhere else if need be.
The construction work is done off-site in a controlled building. This allows the work to be done safer and takes away the risk of food contamination on-site.
On-site electrical work is simplified to single point power wiring to the skid. All other electrical work is done off-site prior to shipment.
The condenser structure is built into the skid which eliminates the need for additional structures.
The skid package is considered “equipment”, so the depreciation is only 5 years. An engine room depreciation is 30 years.
